I'm 7months old!

Hi, I wanted everybody to know that I was baby Jesus in our church musical. I bet nobody can top being baby Jesus. Mom and Dad are trying to keep me humble, but it isn't working. I picked out a Christmas tree with Grandpa and Grandma Talmadge. It was really cold that day. So I am bundled in many layers. And the last picture is me and daddy playing. I love to laugh when dad plays with me. Just lately I started to make some of the sounds that dad and mom make. I can say da da da da, guh guh guh, and na na na. I am working on becoming a Rhodes Scholar. Dad kept trying to get me to say ma ma ma, but I decided to start with da. I am seven months old and rolling all over the house getting into all kinds of things I am not supposed to. In my video, I am playing with one of many cords I am not supposed to play with. And dad is throwing a stuffed soccer ball into the air. I have a lot of fun with dad. In my second video, I am trying to talk while eating. That doesn't always work so well. Can't wait to see many of my family and friends this Christmas.

Happy Halloween!

Luke found his way into a Yoda costume last night (thanks, Ashleigh!)...

I think he is using the force.

I'm 4 months Old Now!

I am four months old, and the doctor says I am doing great. I was 12 pounds 9 ounces at my 4 month check-up. I was very brave when they gave me my booster shots. I gave up pacifiers, because I love sucking my thumb. I also love drooling. I think I may be getting teeth very soon. It will be great to eat big people food. This last weekend I went to Great Grandma Hanson's funeral. It was a wonderful service, and I was glad I could be there in the cry room watching and listening while not disturbing others. Everybody says I look like a Hanson. I am almost rolling over. I roll onto my side everyday, but I can't figure out how to get to my tummy yet. Well, it is almost time to nap, but I wanted to tell everyone that Daddy will be putting a video of me on the blog soon so stay tuned. And I love visitors so come on up anytime.

Forget pacifiers. My thumb works way better!

Uncle Dave came to visit me. We were immediate buddies. I think one day I might be an actor like cool Uncle Dave.

My first bath in the big tub made me laugh. I thought it was appropriate to laugh for the first time when actor/comedian Uncle Dave was visiting.

I love visiting Grandma Hanson's house. She spoils me rotten, and I love it!

I am exhausted after writing this blog. Time to nap!

Netarts Family Reunion

Our annual family reunion was a fun adventure for our family. It was our first long outing with Luke. Everything went great. Luke slept better than ever at the beach. So we decided we are moving to the Oregon Coast. Luke spent many hours with his cousins. And mom and dad got away for a date night. Almost the entire Peloquin clan was there and that made the reunion even more special. We can't wait until next year!

We love the beach.

The entire extended family at Aunt Trena's House. Thanks for the Crab feast Peloquins!

Crazy Uncle Justin and Luke.

Ally Bo Bally and a concerned Luke.

Uncle Eddie and Luke both needed a nap.

We celebrate the arrival of Luke and Thomas James Talmadge. More boy cousins!

They are sure to be best buds since they are only two months apart.

Grandma Talmadge and Luke. So cute!

Great Grandma simonson (Talmadge) and the family.

What a smile Mckenzie. Happy 1st Birthday!

We visited the Milligans on the way home. One day you are sure to marry Mckenzie Luke so the in-laws will be the Milligans.

After a long vacation all there is left to do is sleep!

Smiling and Drooling

Luke is getting pretty good at both smiling and drooling (sometimes at the same time). The purple stuff all over his face is some medicine that really stains his face good.

Luke at 6 Weeks

In case you are wondering...this is Luke's perspective while he lays on his back on the "Wiggle Worm" (thanks Goldsteins!) which is where he was for all the previous shots.

Hand Crafted Goodness

Psalm 139:13-16

(10 weeks)
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

(10 weeks)
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

(27 weeks)

My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

(27 weeks)

your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

(2 and a half weeks out)

Here are more pictures from life on the outside:

Mom and Luke

Welcome to real life, Luke!

Luke suffers from the human condition.

First moments with Aunt Ashleigh.

This is what a really good breakfast does to Luke.

At Luke's first wedding, he tells Ashleigh he'd like to
join the Black Panthers when he grows up.

Shhhh! Elmer Fudd is sweeping.
